Valerie Stern is an accomplished pianist with a unique blend of classical expertise and contemporary flair. She has played roles in numerous television and film productions, both on set and in the studio.
Valerie recorded an extensive piano score for the Amazon thriller Nocturne (2020), and also acted as the on-screen hand double for the film's lead actresses Sydney Sweeney (HBO's Euphoria) and Madison Iseman (Jumanji). In the 2007 motion picture I Know Who Killed Me, Valerie was the hand double for actress Lindsay Lohan, who portrayed a classical pianist. Valerie also appeared as a pianist in The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience in 2022, a live immersive production inspired by the hit Netflix series Bridgerton where music was an integral part of the storyline.

About Valerie
Valerie Stern's credentials underscore her commitment to musical excellence. A summa cum laude graduate of USC's Thornton School of Music (BM and MM), she went on to obtain her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from UCLA in 2021. She recently assumed the role of Music Department Chair at the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), held annually on the CalArts campus. A Los Angeles native, Valerie is well-versed in many styles of music and is an active performing and recording artist.
